THIS^ exactly. I can't even imagine having my sibs for as long as you had your twins and have to give them back

But, that seems to be the way this case is going, they have court June 1st and SW is going to recommend ONE 6 month extension and if their plan is not COMPLETE by December, they will start TPR process. 100 bucks says they start working their plan about Oct. We are fortunate to have a SW and a judge who will only give as much time as the law says they must give, still it will be hard to see them go after more than a year.
I wish there was some heavy education to parents about attachment the way us foster parents have to go through, not that it will make a difference.
Bio mom LOVES us and KNOWS her kids are in great hands. I have also been inclined to make bio mom less comfortable with us caring for their kids (not in any way that would affect the kids, though). Not sure how to go about it, but I know it's only a matter of time that one of them is going to reach out to me after their visit and say "mama". NOW, if that was MY baby saying that to someone else, I would be heartbroken, but I know full well their thinking is not the same...
UGH, so frustrating!! I read on another post that it is really ridiculous that we give these parents sooo much time. REALLY, if my bio's would do their plan, they would have them back with in 6 weeks!! WHY do they need a year??? The kids are the ones to suffer....
